Fr Matthew Blake, OCD, is a Discalced Carmelite of the Anglo Irish Province who has served in various leadership and spiritual accompaniment capacities, including work with the Secular Carmelite Order and the province’s Centre for Applied Carmelite Spirituality in Oxford. He is currently Prior of the Carmelite community in Kensington, London. He has preached numerous retreats and delivered lectures both within the Carmelite family and to wider audiences across different traditions.
