Who is behind Mount Carmel magazine?
Mount Carmel magazine is a longstanding publication and apostolate of the Discalced Carmelite Friars of the Anglo-Irish Province within the Roman Catholic Church. Beyond the United Kingdom and Ireland, the Province encompasses important missions in Nigeria and Australia. The Carmelite Friars are oriented towards a contemplative spirituality, combined with apostolic work that seeks to draw others into the ways of prayer, inviting all to make the journey of the heart into the reality of God’s presence. In this work, the Friars collaborate closely with the Discalced Carmelite Seculars of the United Kingdom and Ireland and other lay supporters, as well as the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Great Britain and the Discalced Carmelite Sisters of Ireland.
