I adore Thee, Lord of Light,
Who shaped the stars and formed the night.
From dust Thou raised us by Thy hand
And breathed in us Thy wise command.
Through fragile hands Thy works are shown;
Through mortal minds Thy seeds are sown.
Thou plantest purpose deep within,
A holy fire beneath the skin.
When we depart from Thy decree,
The restless soul cries out for Thee;
For peace is found in hearts aligned,
In yielded will and humbled mind.
The writer burns till truth is told,
The artist shapes what faith beholds;
The singer lifts heaven’s bright refrain,
The dancer moves through joy and pain.
These gifts are not by chance bestowed —
They mark the soul and light the road.
Each sacred calling asks its price:
For trust refined, for sacrifice.
Eternal life is daily won
In quiet choices, one by one.
The fiercest battle we must face
Is yielding pride to sovereign grace.
O Breath of God, in us remain;
Let all we are exalt Thy name. Amen.
